the village is located 700 metres above sea level. It is very quiet and scenic and can be easily reached by any car. The village has a permanent population of about twenty people, with a few more in summer. 
The nearest town where you can shop is 4 km away, while the main town of Bedonia is 10 km away and the motorway exit is Borgotaro on the A15, 40 minutes away.
